Just like with any motorized vehicle, electric bikes also must follow specified laws. If you have an electric bike and do not follow these laws, you can find yourself in a lot of trouble. Drivers of any kind of motor vehicle have a lot of responsibility to uphold. Electric bikes certainly are no exceptions to these rules. It does not matter where you live, electric bike owners need to know what the laws are. If you plan to buy an electric bike always make sure you are responsible and follow all safety and legal requirements.
If you want to perform bicycle stunts, then stick with the simple bicycles as they are cheaper. If you are into extreme sports, then there are another range of stunt bikes you can choose from.
E-bikes assist your pedaling; they don’t replace it. Although capable of pushing you along without any help, I use my fat bike 20 pollici elettrica to help me when I get tired or need an extra boost of power. So I find that I ride more (and get more exercise) because I have that electric bicycle assistance. It allows me to control the amount of exercise I get. I can cruise along for up to 25 miles if I want to take it easy and let the electric bike do all the work. If I want to get a heavier workout, I can do that too (and I usually do, using the battery power mostly for hills and strong head winds).
First of all it always a good idea to keep your battery topped off. Some batteries can handle being drained all the way down but in general it is a good idea to always charge your e-bike battery when you can. Consider charging your battery when you are at work or when you stop somewhere to run errands. Most employers and shops are OK with people charging their batteries when they understand that it only costs pennies to fully charge an electric bike battery! Keeping your battery topped off is good for the overall life of your battery and it helps if you have an unexpected trip you need to make and you need the extra juice.
The model 4840 delivers a monstrous 2.6 HP. (Now remember this a bicycle, not a Ford Mustang!). The Phoenix Brute’s motor is wound to churn out an outrageous amount of low end torque. As such, it can be used to pull a trailer or support a big strapping guy (or two small girls…..just kidding). The point is, of course, that it can handle the load!
Personally, I think everyone should at least try it once. Statistically, a lawn mowing business in an average town can bring in $30,000 per year. That’s right, at least $30,000 per year. Just think if you have a skill or trade that you could use to make some extra money. Hey, it’s better than sitting around WISHING you had extra money. Go to the local library and get a book out on how to make extra money starting a part time business. One very easy way to get started on a business is to build an Internet business. You can easily start one on about a dollar a day.
Ebikes also offer a great opportunity to spend time with the family. If you’ve got young children you may have considered a bicycle trailer. It’s possible you were put off by the idea of cycling with the added weight of the trailer and a child in the back, you would be surprised how heavy they can be! With an electric bike you would find this so much easier as the torque in the motor will help the burden. You won’t have to worry about steep hills or long distances, Perfect!
